What Promise does with voice notes

Promise lets you capture quick thoughts without turning them into a manual list. A short Tell Promise note can become a reviewable reminder, follow-up, or important detail that resurfaces when it is useful.

Common voice-note moments Promise helps with

• You leave a quick note after a meeting before context fades.
• You capture a personal detail you want to remember later.
• You say an idea while moving between calls instead of opening a task app.

Timed follow-through with review

If a note includes timing like "follow up in a week," Promise can turn that into a dated item instead of relying on you to translate the thought into a task manager entry. You review the date, time, and time zone before saving. Dated captures appear in Today; saving on the web does not schedule a browser notification or guarantee delivery of an alert.

Voice and email belong together

Voice notes are a capture mechanism, just like Gmail and Outlook. Promise connects those inputs into one follow-through memory so spoken reminders, conversation-backed commitments, and remembered details can be reviewed in the same product experience with their available source context.

What Promise does not do

Promise is not a generic transcription archive or an autonomous agent that acts without review. It is designed to help you remember what matters, inspect the available context, and choose what to do next.

Privacy and control
